Bobbi has 4 1/2 years experience with teaching firearms but a lifetime of experience in the firearms world. She grew up in southern Indiana where hunting and shooting were common everyday activities.
Her former Marine father ensured his daughters knew how to defend themselves with rifle, shotgun and pistols. Bobbi loves teaching with a majority of her focus on the female shooter. She believes strongly in empowering women and strives to ensure her female students leave the classroom and range feeling energized and strengthened by newfound skills. She brings a true passion and belief in the shooting experience and ensures her students feel prepared to push forward and achieve the next level in the firearms world.
Bobbi has worked in the medical field, both teaching and as a nuclear cardiology technologist, for over 33 years. This has enabled her to hone her communication skills to artfully impart difficult and hard to understand concepts to her patients and help ease their fears about upcoming procedures or diagnoses. She brings this tremendous ability to empathically listen and comfort others to her firearms teaching and she relentlessly strives to exhibit patience and understanding to her students, as well as assisting them in improving their own shooting.
Her interests outside of her medical career and shooting involve reading, playing with her rambunctious dog, Penny, and hiking.
Her MOTTO: Knowledge is power. Never fear investigating the NEW. Only fear never having tried.
