All customers and range staff are expected to practice good hygiene.
So we both ask and encourage you to wash your hands and face shortly after shooting.
One of the key reasons being, washing with D-Lead soap effectively removes lead dust and gunpowder residue. (Lead dust has the tendency to linger on our skin which increases lead exposure - so wash up before you head home!)
Pregnancy
---------
Pregnant women are advised to confer with their physician prior to use of the range, especially where they participate frequently in shooting activities.
Universal Safety Rules
======================
Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.
---------------------------------------
Never assume a gun is unloaded. Assume any gun you encounter is loaded until proven otherwise.
Never point the firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Keep your muzzle pointed in a safe direction at all times (downrange).
Keep your finger off the trigger and outside of the trigger guard until you are ready to fire.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do not place your finger inside the trigger guard or on the trigger until you are ready to fire. This prevents unintentional discharges.
Be sure of your target and what’s beyond it.
--------------------------------------------
Identify your target clearly, know what is in front of it, and what is beyond it. Your bullets can penetrate through your intended target or miss entirely, so ensure there are no unintended persons or objects behind your target.
