Gleny Sosa

Gleny is a Marine Veteran who is native to the Northern Virginia area who has a passion for teaching and shooting guns. He has been handling firearms for over 15 years.

He has deployed to various parts of the world during his 3 combat tours overseas as a Marine, and has handled many types of weapons during his time in the service. His experience when it comes to firearms varies from relaxed range shooting to hostile tactical environments, and everything in between. He loves his handguns and loves teaching new shooters how to shoot them, but is also intimately familiar with rifles, as every Marine is, and could teach you everything you need to know about them in his sleep.

Gleny has been teaching for almost a decade, with students ranging from the brand new level, Marines, foreign Military partners, and up to training Special forces in tactics. As an experienced instructor, he is able to identify how each of his students learn, and will tailor his presentation to them in a manner that becomes natural to digest. As a huge advocate for training with firearms, he will tailor your class to what you want to get out of your training experience from Sharpshooters Group.

Gleny is licensed for concealed carry in Virginia, and is always carrying when he leaves his home. Due to all his listed experience, he is the guy who can provide expertise consultations on firearms and home defense, or anything else that you may have questions about. While safety is always Gleny’s absolute top priority, you having a great Sharpshooters Group experience, will always be a close second.
